Ironheart Frontier
★★★★☆ 4.1
Ironheart Frontier scratches the itch for a strategy game you can play thoughtfully. You build up a frontier settlement, juggle food and materials, and fend off raids that scale as you grow. It's not real-time chaos — you get room to think.
The interface takes a session to click, with a lot packed into corner menus, but once it does, planning your next few turns becomes genuinely satisfying. I appreciated that setbacks feel recoverable; a bad raid stings but doesn't wipe you out.
If you want a strategy game that respects a considered playstyle rather than fast tapping, this is a solid pick. Just be ready for a bit of a learning curve up front.
