Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the game I keep going back to. It's a proper party-based RPG built for phones, with a campaign that runs long enough to feel like a real journey. The writing does the heavy lifting — your four companions bicker, grow, and occasionally surprise you.

Combat is turn-based and leans on positioning. You line up your party, watch elemental weaknesses, and time your special moves. On a phone it works because the touch targets are generous and you can slow the pace whenever you want. The leveling isn't just bigger numbers, either; new abilities change how you approach fights.

My one gripe is that early grinding can drag before the story opens up. Push past the first few hours and it becomes something special. This is the one I recommend when someone asks for a real RPG on mobile.
